Urban Conservation: Supporting Pollinators and Native Wildlife

  • For The Wild Birds 8310 Spring Plaza Omaha, NE, 68124 United States (map)

Elizabeth Ardnt with Grasslands Unlimited will be speaking about Urban Conservation.

This talk will overview three ongoing Grasslands Unlimited conservation projects in Omaha, including approaches, planning, progress, learnings, challenges, triumphs, and why we continue. It will also provide steps we can each take to protect and nurture biodiversity in our own yards, from quick and simple to more involved.

Grasslands Unlimited is a non-profit dedicated to restoring and rebuilding prairie ecosystems for the protection and preservation of the native plants, insects, and animals that belong and to increase public access for enjoyment and education.

Bumbling Bee will have a booth with a limited selection of plants for $4 each plus tax. Ticket required through For The Wild Birds.
